Membership is designed for qualified operators who value dependable service, honest communication, cooperation, and strong industry standards.
Who may apply
Mobile businesses committed to professional standards
Mobile food vendors, mobile beverage vendors, food trucks, trailers, carts, tents, and other appropriate mobile operators may submit an application for review.
Applicants should be prepared to provide truthful business, experience, licensing, insurance, and certification information. Submitting an application does not create membership.
Why membership is selective
Membership is both an opportunity and a responsibility.
Each member’s conduct affects the reputation of the entire Association. The review process is intended to protect professional standards and support a healthy mix of qualified mobile businesses.
Application review
Prospective members provide information about their business, compliance status, experience, service capacity, and reasons for applying.
Member input
Current members may be given an opportunity to provide comments regarding a prospective member.
Board approval
New membership requires unanimous Board approval. Capacity, event demand, vendor categories, and other legitimate considerations may affect availability.

Professional expectations
- Current required licenses and insurance
- ServSafe Manager certification for at least one management team member
- State-approved food-handler certification for workers
- Professional, clean attire and well-maintained equipment
- Timely arrival, dependable communication, and responsible cleanup
- Independent menu development and pricing
