About MFBAMC
History & Founding
The Association began with a belief that cooperation, clear standards, and organized leadership could strengthen independent businesses and improve community events.
Established 2016
Created to change how mobile businesses work together
The mobile food and beverage industry is built on hard work, creativity, sacrifice, and a commitment to serving others.
Before MFBAMC, businesses in the industry often viewed one another primarily as competitors. At the same time, event organizers were frequently left to coordinate several vendors without the specialized knowledge needed to determine the right quantity, variety, communication process, or operating plan.
The Mobile Food & Beverage Association of Marion County was established in 2016 to provide a different model: independent businesses cooperating under shared standards while preserving control of their own operations.
A shared problem
Independent vendors needed stronger professional relationships, and organizers needed a knowledgeable coordination partner.
A common purpose
The Association united professional businesses around standards, opportunity, organization, and community service.
A lasting responsibility
MFBAMC committed to protecting its reputation and strengthening the industry for future generations.
Independent businesses, shared strength
The Association was not created to run anyone’s business. Every member remains responsible for their own pricing, menu, equipment, staff, customer relationships, and reputation. MFBAMC’s role is to lead, establish expectations, coordinate opportunities, foster relationships, and support an industry that benefits everyone involved.
“When good businesses work together, everyone succeeds.”
